A Do or a Don't: Food in the Bedroom

The texture and taste of food is often a sensual experience on its own, so you can see how it could spice things up in the bedroom as well. I’m talking about sexy foods like strawberries, whipped cream, honey, and chocolate! But then again, food is also messy, sticky, and sometimes just downright dirty, which are the parts of sex most people like least. I’m torn on this one, so let me ask you this: Do you think using food as foreplay is sexy? Or is it one of those things that’s a whole lot better in theory than in practice?

Ice is ok, but food is sticky and I just don't want to be covered in stickyness . . . plus I really have no desire to consume anything during sex, just a nice cold glass of water afterwards to refresh!

I like the IDEA of using food in the bedroom...but that does up your risk of getting a yeast infection. Not sexy. I guess you'd just have to hop in the shower immediately after for round #2...Eye-wink

Ice--sure. Anything else would make me feel dirty (not in a good way!).

Food mixed with sexy play -- sure, depending on the food item and method of use, but ONLY in the kitchen, dining room, or other food friendly areas.

    Never in the bedroom. Ever.

I once did this with honey, my guy and I were kind of buzzed...we woke up the next morning and the sheets were so sticky! Haha...if you do do this, make sure you clean up before passing out!

I think my boyfriend would spend more time eating the food than having anything to do with me. He likes "messy" things in theory but I think he'd freak out and get plastic sheets if we were to do this for real. Laughing out loud

No, not for me. I do not associate food with sexual arousal. That does not mix for me.

I'd rather have food afterwards - sounds much better to me. chocolate syrup and honey seem very sticky. I like to be able to sleep in the bed afterwards!

Oooh, I miss that.. strawberries and champagne.

My husband says food and sex don't mix. I don't think a fata$$ Mexican entree should mix with sex.. but little things like berries and cool whip.. ice cream and chocolates are so sensual. Maybe it's just a woman thing.

I HATE crumbs/food residue of any kind anywhere, so I do not want any food anywhere near any holes of mine other than my mouth.

i'm not really into the whole food for foreplay thing. for myself - it's more of a distraction and i don't find it to be a turn on for a guy to lick things off me. i get to be way to self conscious
