Welcome to our last installment of Wedding Season on the Sugar Network!
After all the intense wedding planning and enduring your fair share of pre- wedding stress, it time to pack your bags and fly away to someplace tropical, relaxing, and most importantly, romantic. Your honeymoon is the first time you get to really enjoy being husband and wife, the first time to let all your wedding planning be a distant memory, so ladies, do tell, where did you go on your honeymoon?

I got married the weekend following 9/11, so travel stuff was pretty crazy. We had planned on going to Europe, but luckily ended up booking Hawaii instead, since international travel was a big pain and a little scary at that time. So we spend 12 days in Hawaii, first in Lanai, then Maui. It was a great honeymoon, and nice to be in the USA given the time.

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic! We stayed an all all-inclusive resort and I have never regretted that decision. Made things so much easier once we got there. And it was absolutely gorgeous!

When I DO get married, (who knows when) I want to go to Santorini, Greece. Has anyone gone there??

I love santorini!!!!! It was the first vacation my hubby and I took when we were dating and is where we got engaged. We spent out honeymoon in Italy for 14 days..it was amazing and got to see a lot of the beautiful country..I look forward to going again =]..soon

We had a very short honeymoon, because of work and the fact that we had flown out to Lake Tahoe from New Jersey. Our honeymoon was 2 nights at the Embassy Suite hotel right on the border of Nevada and California. We plan on spending a little more time on our second honeymoon.

We are planning on Europe since I've never been - I'd like my 1st time to be with honey. Plus we are both not sit on the beach kind of people, so this is going to be great.

We went to Hawaii and Maui. We moved our wedding up one year, so we went to France and Belgium on our 1st Ann (which was going to be our HM).

We went to Washington, D.C. for a week. It was awesome -- we stayed at a little inn, and we're total museum nerds, so the free museums were great. The best part -- I didn't have to plan a thing...my husband planned the trip and I found out after the wedding where we were going. It was a fun surprise, and added no stress to me at all!

We went to St. Martin in the Caribbean. It was gorgeous and relaxing -plus we got to visit Anguilla and St. Barth's as well.

We will be going to Italy for 12 days (Venice, Rome, and Florence with an overnight trip to Sorrento and day trips thrown in) this September after our wedding. I am so excited!

We went to Hawaii...Oahu and Maui. It was so nice to just sit and relax after so much planning!

We went to Thailand about 3 months after our wedding. We planned the wedding in 2 weeks so we had no time to plan a honeymoon. # weeks in Thailand. It was amazing - we learned how to scuba dive and cook thai food!

we got married in L.A., so we started our honeymoon with a day at disneyland...then we went to Mazatlan Mexico, which was really nice and relaxing. but honestly, would have been just as happy staying at disneyland the whole week!! i'm a total disney girl.

Iwantadog, I did that exact trip when I went to Italy, though I stayed in a different town in Tuscany. You're going to LOVE it!

Los Cabos, Baja Mexico. it was beautiful, and off season so we got to chat it up with all the small shop owners. A friend of the family had used timeshare points that she passed on to us, so we got to stay for a week and only paid for food and drinks.

We went to Marco Island, FL and it was beautiful. Friends of my family manage a resort there, and they hooked us up. It was wonderful.

I went to Moorea, part of the Tahitian island group in the South Pacific. It was absolutely amazing and the beauty was stunning! I will be visiting Greece next week, namely Athens, Mykonos and Santorini and I hope it's as amazing as you all have said. I can't wait!

We are going to San Francisco and Napa for a week!

We went to Mustique, a tiny private island in the southernmost Caribbean. It is only one mile by three miles. Very, very intimate. Our hotel only had 5 bedrooms.

We went to Hawaii - Oahu (3 days) and the Big Island (7 days). It was the perfect trip, plenty of time for relaxing on the beach and for adventures like snorkeling, hiking, volcanoes. It was so good that we are going back in September. I can't wait!!!

We rode a bmw motorcycle from Key West to Alaska and back. 15,000 miles in 2 months. It was a great adventure and something I'd always wanted to do. The trip became our honeymoon because we walked into the courthouse a few days before we left and got married.

We just got back from our honeymoon-- we went to the Riviera Maya & stayed at the AVENTURA SPA PALACE! IT WAS AWESOME!!!

We went to the Us Virgin Islands-mainly St John and St Croix- beautiful beaches and the food was amazing! Especially on St. John's- culinary schools send their students to intern there and learn the ropes from their specialty chefs. iwantadog- Florence is awesome- try and go to Pisa. A day is all you need their to see the tower and Baptista. Ask the locals for restaurant choices- I can't remember the place we went to but it literally was the best meal I had the whole trip-small, local place.

We were just married 3 1/2 (6/2/07)weeks ago in Sacramento, CA. We are young and by no means well of so opted for Disneyland for 3 days, Universal Studios & Hollywood for 2 days. It was a blast. We got to stay at the Roosevelt Hotel which is BEAUTIFUL and filled w/ celebs. We got to see Rob Shnider, Chris O'Donnel, Dave Chappelle, as well as Helf and his Ladies. AMAZING!! Fun!!!

We spent the first three days in a quiet condo on Kauai. Then we spent 6 days at the Marriott in Waikoloa Beach on the Big Island... Hawaii is the quintessential honeymoon vacation!

we did a tour of new england that was all centered around tix for a Red Sox game at Fenway Park! all my gfs thought i was crazy but it was really fun. we went to Maine (lobster!), New Hampshire (Green Mtns), Vermont (Burlington & Lake Champlain), and of course, stayed in Boston. it was so relaxing driving about and seeing most of new england...

Me and Hubby eloped to fab Las Vegas so technically the first honeymoon was 'a honeymoon in Vegas'. But on our 1 year anniversary we had the 'real' wedding with family and wedding party. The wedding was in Maui and we spent 2 weeks island hopping - glorious!

I'm getting married in 16 days, and we are going to Whistler, B.C. Neither of us are hot-weather people, so we look forward to just spending time together. Due to our work schedules, we don't have any days off together!

We wanted to go some place tropical but we didn't get our passports in time. So we packed up and drove six hours to Kansas city and we had a blast just having fun and doing whatever we felt! Singing with the radio and contemplating moving to Branson and starting a Family Band!

I loved our honeymoon! We spent our first days as newlyweds in lovely Boston, MA. We spent time taking in the fall colors, enjoying the history, and the entire atmosphere of the city. It is my favorite city to visit and we couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon.
