If you're practicing yoga at home and are looking for a simple sequence to strengthen your quads, open your hips, and steady your mind, then give this a try.
Hi Fit. The yoga post reminded me that I wanted to thank you very much! After reading several of the yoga posts this year, I decided to give it a try and purchased a Basic Yoga workout on DVD. I've tried pilates in the past, but didn't enjoy it that much. I've had quite a stressful year and as the result of several things, have found myself suffering from depression for the first time in my life. Since I've started learning the yoga poses, however, I've found that I'm much calmer and noticeably happier. It's not a miracle cure, but I'm enjoying it so much and I can't get over how much better I feel, for at least a couple of hours afterwards, if not the whole day. So thank you for the inspiration!
