Some people are born talkers. They could gab on the phone for hours on end and still find more things to discuss. Then there are those who almost pray to get voicemail in hopes of avoiding a live conversation. I actually consider myself a good phone person, but when the individual on the other end isn't, it can make for some incredibly awkward conversation. Of course face to face communication always makes for higher quality conversation, but tell me, are you a phone person? Source

A recent trip to the grocery store made me realize that I often "splurge" on items that I don't necessarily need. Around here we talk a lot about how important it is to trust your instincts, which I’m a huge supporter of. We have those instincts for a reason! But every once and a while wires get crossed somewhere along the way and we misconstrue what are gut is telling us. I know this has happened to me before, and my incorrect instincts have led me to make a false accusation for which later, I felt rather foolish. I’m sure it’s more of an exception than a rule, but have you ever accused someone of something they didn’t do? Source

Whether you’re having it or you’re not, sex is always a personal choice. For some people, the physical act alone is enough to create a pleasurable experience and thus waiting for an emotional connection is unnecessary. But for many, being close to the person you’re engaging in sex with is an absolute requirement, which necessitates more time getting to know each other. Knowing that, I could never distinctly say that there is a “too soon” when it comes to sex in a relationship, but everyone has their own opinion on this matter. What do you think?Source

Leighton Meester is on the current cover of Us Magazine, opening up about the untold story of her family and her upbringing. Although she didn't keep it a secret per se, the fact that she was born in prison wasn't necessarily public knowledge until now. While both of her parents spent time in jail for a drug ring that smuggled marijuana into the United States from Jamaica, Meester seems to look at her experience on the bright side: "It makes me very nonjudgmental and open-minded. And I think it just makes me appreciate the things that I have now." Since we all have our own family secrets, let me ask you this: Are there any secrets that you would be ashamed of if they were made public? Or would you do as Leighton and appreciate the secret for shaping the person you are today?
