Even if you don't spend time with your work buddies outside of the office, you've probably made some pretty good "work friends" — you know those people you can vent to, share exciting news with, and gossip. And when the going gets tough between nine and five, they are the only ones that can understand your frustration so it's no wonder we all rely so much on them. And I know it's not the most PC thing to do, but it's pretty common to vent about other people in the office to those trusted confidants.

If you want a
home office as stylish as you are, it's best to start with a smart desk. If you're negotiating tight spaces, there's no need to bring home a big chunky desk; there are plenty of
small ones out there. Crate & Barrel has just come out with its
Convertible Compact Desk ($499), which is a clever home-office solution that converts from a 30-inch cabinet to a 55-inch full-size desk by sliding out its top panel (and desk's legs).

In case your calendar manufacturer missed the mark, I'm here to remind you that the
cubicle is celebrating its 40th birthday this year. Cupcakes for everyone. For better or for worse, the invention of the cubicle forever changed the workplace.

The majority of you admitted to judging co-workers
by the way they dress and after reading a recent article in the Guardian called "How to . . .

For the next installment of
this game, take a look at each of these extending desks and see if you can answer my questions about them.

Hi CasaSugar,
I am thinking of setting up a work space in my bedroom. I don't have much space and I would like to get one of those high desks, like a standing desk. Do you have any examples of cute ones.

Many restauranteurs are reporting a
decrease in lunch-time traffic, and say that customers are bringing their lunch to the office more often or selecting $5 Subway over a more expensive deli sandwich.
Workers opting to bring their lunch usually spend a fraction of what they would eating out. How often do you bring a bagged lunch?

Since we spend most of our time at work, our cube or office space essentially becomes our home away from home. I've never gone so far as to put frames on my desk, but I definitely have my fair share of unique touches that makes my desk feel homey and familiar. On the flip side, some people don't even feel comfortable
sharing their personal life with their co-workers so I'd assume personalizing their cube would be out of the question.

Sitting through a sex ed class is probably something you've never done with co-workers, though it could be offered during future lunch breaks. Mark Schuster's program, "Talking Parents, Healthy Teens," has already made its way to
13 workplaces and 569 parents. Together they discussed how to best communicate with teens about sex, including how to teach them to use a condom (with the condom-on-the-finger lesson).

Last I checked there wasn't a skins option for office attire — shirts are mandatory. And pants for that matter, unless you're the woman in this video. An offended worker wrote to Slate's Dear Prudence
about her exhibitionist co-worker, and they appreciated the story so much her letter was brought to cartoon life.
