Carlisle Cullen — that's the actor Peter Facinelli for all you non-Twilighters — told Us Weekly at the movie's premiere, how hard it was to be away from his family in L.A. while filming Twilight, and what he had to say pleased me greatly.
"I have a Mac computer, and we do the iChat, so sometimes I can eat dinner with my family," he says.

In this week's episode of The Hills, we witnessed Lauren and Audrina go from frenemies to being best buds again. Stephanie and Spencer continued to feud during a visit to their Nana's house, although we didn't hear any quarreling between Heidi and Spencer, which was a first! This geek didn't discover a whole lot of tech toys, but there was enough tech talk to whip up this week's tech quiz — how well were you paying attention?

After Paris Hilton's Cell Phone Evolution slideshow, I'm sure you are all wondering if there's a celeb who can top her handheld collection over the years. Well, Hilary Duff may not have more cell phones, but she sure is a smartphone lover, as you'll see in this slideshow. She once told Switched that she made the switch from her Sidekick to the BlackBerry because the Sidekick felt big and more like a toy.

Last night on The Hills, Heidi was fortunate enough to be given a second chance at her job, while Audrina and Justin gave us a glimpse at their love affair. Lauren was busy dealing with her new roomie, Holly, who is temporarily crashing at Lo and LC's house. Another episode minus many gadget goods, but thankfully there was enough for this tech quiz!

The Governor of Alaska and former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin was far away from Alaskan winds last week as she basked in the Miami sun, while taking a break from the Republican Governor's Conference. Considering she will be playing a big role in the future of our country, it's no wonder she was already back to business — poolside naturally — with her Dell Inspiron laptop. Hopefully she has a new email account that's got maximum security and is set up with a tricky password.
