Last time we hung out with the kids from
Gossip Girl, it was Thanksgiving and
things seemed to be mellowing out. Jenny stopped with the divorcing of the parents and moved back in with Rufus, Serena and Aaron settled in to an exclusive relationship, Blair got to see her dad, and Chuck and Nate made nice.
But now that the mini-break is over, the drama's starting up again, and this week's episode is basically a slow build to the annual Snowflake Ball, where everyone eventually turns up one way or another.

The stars of
Gossip Girl were dressed for Winter to film around NYC yesterday. Blake Lively kept Penny warm under her coat as usual and Leighton Meester bundled up in Uggs before changing into heels for the camera. While Blair Waldorf isn't one for tennis shoes, in real life Leighton and Ed Westwick are both
promoting sneaker lines.

Milk arrived in NYC last night with all its handsome stars out for the red carpet. Details helped host the event and
recent cover boy Chace Crawford got dressed up and his usually shaggy hair was perfectly coiffed to attend the screening. Downtown from his
grad school in the Upper West Side, Columbia, James Franco let both his hair and facial hair look a little more unruly, but he can certainly pull it off.

On this week's
Gossip Girl there aren't things like murders or drug overdoses, which I was hoping for kind of expecting given the show's history. In fact, it seems like everyone puts aside their differences for one day in the spirit of Thanksgiving despite the fact that Gossip Girl hinted there would be "lying, manipulation, and betrayal" on the Upper East Side.
The entire cast is present in this episode, too, and it seems like all loose ends from the past couple of episodes have been tied up, while the seeds for future intrigue are definitely sown.
Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford is still in London, following his appearance at
the switch on of Oxford Street's Christmas lights alongside the Sugababes. He went to a party at the Sanderson Hotel last night, alongside Keisha Buchanan of the 'babes, lovely Leona Lewis and a rather surprised looking James Corden. Yummy Chace had spent part of his day
signing DVDs of his fabulous TV series, I wonder if he swapped any amusing
signing experience stories with James at the party!

Sugababes Heidi, Keisha and Amelle were given the honour of turning on Oxford Street's Christmas lights in London yesterday
in front of 50,000 fans. They were joined on stage by The X Factor finalists Daniel Evans, Rachel Hylton, Ruth Lorenzo and Alexandra Burke, who
performed "Hero". Talk turned to Laura White's
controversial exit from the show, with Keisha
saying "I almost smashed my TV" and Heidi
adding "Laura should not have been kicked out".

Calling all Chace Crawford fans! After touching down on French soil for the
World Music Awards at the weekend, the gorgeous gossip guy is continuing his European tour and is on our shores. He attended the opening of the Darwin Exhibition at the Natural History Museum last night, and will be taking part in a Q&A and signing copies of the new
Gossip Girl soundtrack plus the
series DVD at 5pm tomorrow at zavvi on Oxford Street.

On this week's
Gossip Girl, love is in the air for Serena, who is aglow with feelings for Aaron the artist. Also glowing? Eleanor Waldorf!

It was a star-studded night in Monaco on Sunday as celebrities got dressed up and headed overseas to the 2008 World Music Awards. As expected, Lindsay Lohan
was no longer the host so Jesse Metcalf and Michelle Williams (the Destiny's Child one) took her place. Beyonce Knowles had her
metal glove on while she performed and accepted an award and her sister, Solange, took the stage to sing as well.

Things got a bit somber for the cast of
Gossip Girl yesterday, as they headed to a cemetery in NYC to film scenes for an upcoming episode. Guess this means the funeral we've been hearing about isn't too far off. Of course, the cast still managed to
look fabulous in their black mourning wear.
