It's hip to be green – and I don't mean the color! Although I love the hue, it's more about the principal of going green these days, and there's one company that wants to dress your dogs up in their
eco-tastic love:
Wagging Green. Making fun and earth-friendly pet products out of highly sustainable bamboo, they aren't only saving the planet, but they are proactive about giving back: Five percent of each purchase goes to conservation causes!

My pal likes to bring
Io to the
DIY bath station at a local pet shop but complained to me that her dog's collar always gets all wet (during the washing process) and smelly (during the drying process). So I recommended this chic
Dublin Dog version instead.
Made of a polymer blend (read: rubbery), they don't absorb moisture, retain dirt, or harbor bacteria when they get soiled or soaked.

I was already a big fan of
Wonderdog, especially since they make cute walking harnesses (which are way harder to locate for those
noncollar wearing pups). Now I'm loving their warm, earthy-toned additions for Fall so much that I've picked my three favorite styles below. Don't worry
matching fans, they stock coordinating leashes, too!

I love
finding celebrity pets' goodies, and it's rare when I'm not 100 percent sure if I've IDed it. So I'm letting you make the call – this
Louis Vuitton Monogram Baxter Dog Leash ($330) is currently sold out online but from the product picture and my zoomed-in one of her mini Doxie, the pattern's outline appears slightly off, no?Both pups have
matchy matchy collar and leashes – that would total $1,290 if the real thing – in addition to
ones that match each other, making this quite the upgrade from the
Puppia/bandana combo we've spotted in the past.2365610 Either way, I love seeing her and boyfriend, Albert Hammond Jr., snuggle and kiss (!) the dogs in a cute gallery I've shared when you .2365610

I know I'm biased here, but I love the product names for
Gwen Gear. Based here in San Francisco, the company's collars and leashes are named after streets and neighborhoods in the city by the bay. The company began when the owners got a cutie patootie English Bulldog named – you guessed it – Gwen and were inspired to create this line for their beloved pooch and their beloved city.

I'm fairly
DIY, but not quite this much . . .

I was taking my usual Sunday stroll though the city with North over the weekend, and stopped into
one of my favorite pet shops to find a new line of ultra-cool doggie accessories. Called
Rockin' Doggie, these pieces are undoubtedly inspired by rock n' roll, but are stylish enough to wear every day. I loved the guitar pic ID tags adorned with your pup's initial on the front (N for North, of course), and was really digging the leather poop bag holder that comes in a variety of colors.

Even if you're not down with
coordinating with your furry friend, Thurman Murman's
constantly rotating leash collection got me thinking – is it necessary to match the leash to the collar or harness? While Samson's sporting a set here, I know my pooch has many more harnesses than
leashes . .

My ever-dapper lil gentleman looks even more so with this new collar I picked up at
The Hip Hound in Portland over the weekend! I mean, seriously, how much more adoro can he possibly get?I
first mentioned these cute tie collars from
The Good Life a while back, so it's about time I bought one of my his very own. Since he would sport
both a harness and a collar for walkies, it makes a nice addition on special occasions – he got even more awwwws from strangers last night than he usually does .

Now I'll use nearly any excuse to buy North a new item but I'm not sure we're quite patriotic enough for a full on flag print! In spirit of the
Fourth of July, I've hunted down some of the cutest products for your furry friends featuring stars and stripes. While these items may be mostly red, white, and blue, they're not too seasonal to be used all year long!
