Yesterday, we continued our tour of Victoria's Deco-era apartment
with a turn around her studio. Today, we'll take a look at her bedroom, which is full of cool art, unique vintage furniture finds, and of course, more cool lighting.

Yesterday, we
toured Victoria's fabulous entry, living room, and studio space. Victoria, a jeweler living by "the jewel of Oakland," Lake Merritt, is the lucky inhabitant of a Deco-era apartment that features much of the original detailing, including several stunning chandeliers (such as the one shown here). To continue the tour with a turn around her study, check out the slideshow.

It only makes sense that Oakland, CA, artist
Victoria Skirpa makes stunning sculptures and covetable jewelry from her one-bedroom apartment overlooking Lake Merritt. After all, the lake is known as "the jewel of Oakland," and Victoria's apartment, location, and beautiful jewelry (she's having a special
invite-only sale this upcoming weekend) are all equally treasurable. When I visited her home, I was literally drooling over her crazy views, as well as her very cool vintage furniture finds, original artwork, and unbelievable closet space (I am incredibly envious of this last item).

Charles and Ray
Eames are legends in the design world. Their furniture designs, from the molded rocker to the Eames lounge and ottoman, are pieces any modernist worth her salt is either saving for or proudly displaying.
The Eames are also known for their modular work, which was first seen in the 1940 Organic Design competition, and established the beauty and practicality of a modular approach to architecture.

This week, I showed you two slideshows from Andy's artful home. You can check out his
kitchen and his
living and dining rooms to catch up on our house tour progress. Now, we'll finish the tour with peeks into his bedroom and bathroom.

When the owners of this New Zealand home asked architecture firm Pacific Environments to renovate it, the firm created a stunning, minimalist vision for the 40-year-old house. Taking advantage of shipping rigging, stainless steel tubing, metallic finishes, and diagonal lines, the house has been transformed from its prior incarnation. To get the tour, check out the slideshow.

When Aspen, CO, residents Cynthia and Frank Goldsmith decided their dream home should look like a 110-year-old Colorado homestead, they went to work, hiring an architect to recreate that iconic look. At the same time, the couple traveled to flea markets, antique stores, and salvage yards to find turn-of-the-century hardware, lighting, beams, doorknobs, and even hinges! The only items in this home that are new are the appliances, plumbing, and windows.

Yesterday, I showed you
Andy's entry, living, and dining rooms. Today, I'll continue the tour with his wow-worthy kitchen.

Artist
Andrew Phares doesn't leave his creativity in the studio. On the contrary: His eye for design, unique antiques, and tongue-in-cheek vintage signage and toys is evident throughout his Bay Area home. There's so much to take in, in fact, that I've decided to break this slideshow up into several separate posts!

While I've been a fan of
Amy Butler's fabric, products, and patterns for some time, now I'm also in love with her studio space. Take the tour with me, and you'll be wishing for an Ohio fabric studio as well!
