New York based celebrity trainer
Oscar Smith is no stranger to the rigors of
Fashion Week. He trains many models, including Petra Nemcova, at his Tribeca gym
O-Diesel.
To get models ready for the runway he works them hard with a strenuous circuit workout, full of intervals and
plyometric moves.

Just because you're not a "somebody," that does not mean you have to miss
Fashion Week. No sirree!
If you're a somebody with an iPhone or iPod Touch, you can simply download
Style.com's new app from the iTunes App Store and watch the runway shows on your phone, starting Sept.

Last night, glam mama–to–be Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony were made up for a Manhattan night out on the town.
Already a father, Marc knows to party it up while he still can because having a baby, never mind twins, can keep new parents tied up for quite awhile.

We're into full-blown Fashion Week season, with lots of looks from
New York,
London, and
Paris. This model walked in the Viktor & Rolf show in Paris, and I was struck by her babydoll makeup and wildly wavy hair. It's clearly done to create a high-fashion effect, and it gives me ideas for creating a more toned-down version of the look.

I thought I'd pay tribute to
New York Fashion Week again today with this lovely photo of
Coco Chanel's apartment posted on Notcot. The floors of the fashion designer's former residence are linked by a mirrored staircase, which apparently allowed Chanel to stand in one spot and have a view of every floor.

While we know what the folks at
Fashion Week have been
sipping and
wearing, what exactly have they been eating? It's hard to believe, but this stylish crew has been chomping on burgers!! Not just any old burger, New York's latest burger craze from
Pop Burger, the "invisible" burger.

For those of us unable to attend the glamorous parties at New York's
Fashion Week, we'll have to settle for one of the season's most coveted cocktails instead! Chambord, the yummy French raspberry liquor is the official liquor of Fashion Week. A variety of cocktails made with the spirit are being served in the tents at Bryant Park and this recipe for the rosy hued Chambord Walk makes me want to strut to my bar and whip one up immediately.

Last night, Fab and I were transported to the Tropics—if only mentally—at the Mara Hoffman show. While
Fab chatted with the designer herself, I trotted backstage to chat with the hair and makeup teams. (Yep, that's the actual backstage area!)
While watching the models get done up, I chatted with hair stylist Sandra Yu.
