When I’m being told one of my friend’s dating escapades, I like all the details. Maybe I’m just nosy, but I'd want to make an informed opinion if I’m asked for it. Likewise, I’m apt to walk my friends step-by-step through a situation I've been through.

When girls get together, it's a time for them to talk about everything from their careers to their love lives, and all the fun stuff in between. And even if you have a few different groups of friends, there are usually reoccurring topics that get touched upon each and every time. When I'm with my friends, we catch up first but the conversation always finds its way back to men, dating, and relationships.

Even if you don't spend time with your work buddies outside of the office, you've probably made some pretty good "work friends" — you know those people you can vent to, share exciting news with, and gossip. And when the going gets tough between nine and five, they are the only ones that can understand your frustration so it's no wonder we all rely so much on them. And I know it's not the most PC thing to do, but it's pretty common to vent about other people in the office to those trusted confidants.

Although it would be nice to think that the world of rumors and talking behind someone’s back is left in the halls of our high schools, I think we all know that’s just not the case. In fact, most workplaces are rife with gossip as are many circles of friends. That said, not all gossip is bad; some rumors are simply a matter of misinformation.

We all have our imperfections and for some people it's not knowing when to back off. I love good gossip as much as the next person, but I do know that when it comes to other people's personal lives, being too nosy only leads to trouble. So are you too nosy?

The winners of the 2008 Music Week Awards will be announced today and the category I'm most interested in is Music Sync of the Year. Weirdly enough, it features my favourite TV show song ("Standing in the Way of Control"), film song ("Rule the World") and advert song (Lloyds TSB) of last year! But enough about me, I want to know what you think.
When Jessica Simpson first started dating Tony Romo, everyone seemed quick to write them off. She had just come out of a string of failed relationships and Tony came under fire for letting Jessica "ruin his football season." Even though they're still together, I feel like we're just waiting for news of the break up, since we all "know" it won't last. 
When you think of gossip, do you immediately picture a group of women talking each other's ears off? If so, I'm sure you're not alone, but I think it's a common misconception that it's mostly women who gossip. Every man I know, especially my dad, loves to be in the know and let's face it, men are sometimes even more fun to gossip with than women! 
It's been a couple months since you've spent time with your core group of friends. You've missed recent get-togethers because you've been so busy with work, family issues, and planning your wedding. You feel really guilty which is why you've gone out of your way to make it to dinner tonight at one of your friend's houses.

I've been seeing this guy for about a month. The other day I found out from a good friend that he has a girlfriend. When I asked him if it was true, he said it wasn't, so now I don't know who to believe or what to do.
