I'm Asking: What Black Friday Deals Did You Score?

Black Friday has come and gone faster than your turkey hangover went away. I wasn't able to make it out to any of the sales myself (good thing there's still Cyber Monday), but being a bargain hunter at heart, I'm dying to hear about the on-sale loot you scored.

What deals did you get your hands on this Black Friday?

I'm Asking: Is It Now More Unacceptable to Be Flashy?

Over brunch with a girlfriend this weekend, she commented that now it's not cool to be flashy about money, like throwing down $1,000 at a club for a table with bottle service or spending $500 on a sweater when someone makes a $50,000 salary.

The economy is causing people to act differently with their money and towards other people's money — it's not to say that there's no place for splurging in a rocky economy, but do you think that it's now more unacceptable to be flashy even if you have the money to spend?

I'm Asking: Describe Your Least Favorite Co-Worker

One of my favorite moments of last night's episode of The Office was when Michael first sees Toby after his Costa Rican hiatus and repeatedly shouts "no" in Toby's face. Michael doesn't try to keep his distaste for Toby a secret — everyone from the corporate Dunder-Mifflin Office to Scranton knows how much resentment Michael holds for him.

I doubt any of you have tried to set up your co-worker to be busted as a drug dealer, using basil from a caprese salad, no less, but are there any co-workers who you'd describe as your least favorite? Check out the video below of Michael acting out, and then tell me about your least favorite co-worker.

I'm Asking: What's the Priciest Gift You've Ever Purchased?

If money were no object, we'd surely buy our loved ones the best of the best and whatever filled their hearts' desires. Alas, most of us can't afford to shower those we love with priciest presents and our thoughtful gifts are more than enough to bring joy to the holiday season. Sometimes, though, we find ourselves splurging on our family, friends, or significant others, and end up spending more than we intended. What's the most expensive gift you've ever purchased?

I'm Asking: How Much Does a Movie Cost at Your Theater?

Yes, seeing Daniel Craig on the big screen was worth every penny, but I couldn't help but think back to a time when movie tickets weren't so expensive. How much do tickets cost for movies in your city?

I'm Asking: What Are Your Homemade Gift Ideas?

Buying gifts for every person we want to is often out of the question, but homemade gifts can make it more possible to spread the seasonal love. Do you make any signature gifts that allow you to give more while saving money?

I'm Asking: What's the Best Job You've Ever Had?

Which Brand-Name Items Have You Replaced With Store Brands?

More often than not, store brands are priced lower than name brands and sometimes it's difficult to differentiate between the two. Now that stretching our dollars is more of a priority, it appears that more consumers are catching on to the fact that buying store branded items can reduce your grocery bill.

According to a recent survey, 40 percent of primary household shoppers have started buying cheaper store-brand paper products. Which brand-name items have you replaced with store brands on recent shopping trips?

I'm Asking: Did Your Parents Have a Say in Your College Major?

My parents didn't try and stop me when I declared my major, though I knew other students who weren't given the freedom to choose any major they pleased. CNN Money's article "Your highly educated dishwashers" gives a little perspective into the thought process of parents with college-bound kids, and it got me wondering how many of your majors were influenced by your parents. Did your parents have a say?

Do You Fear Money Will Prevent You From Having Kids?

One of the biggest (and most expensive) topics under the future umbrella is starting a family — are you concerned that financial issues will hold you back from having kids?
