We've talked before about how
Lipstick Jungle is pretty much
exclusively Apple now, and how all three leading ladies have iPhones, but until this week's episode, they all had first generation phones. No longer — tiger shark editrix Nico Reilly is the first one to get an
iPhone 3G.
Her new iPhone is black, and this placement does make sense for Nico, being the one with the most high-powered, fashion-oriented job.

For as long as I can remember, I've always given my dad socks, underwear, books, and golf balls for Christmas. Every now and then I'll find one spectacular gift, but most of the time it's the same old stuff.
This year, surprise your pop with a sweet stash of goodies that are sure to make him sit back and revel in your creativity and generosity.

One of my favorite iPhone case makers, Incase, has added their gorgeous
metallic iPhone slider case lineup for the 3G iPhone.
Each just $35 that's way less than having your iPhone dipped in a precious metal,
like Pharrell did. Come to think of it, he probably wants that $15,000 or so back since the 3G came out.

The exact same iPhone Jennifer Hudson was
spotted with in her video for "Spotlight," reappears. . .

I must ask
Fab; is leopard print in right now, or is it out? Oh well, it seems to come back in often enough to justify this $11
Leopard Print iPhone 3G Case!
It's a sleeve, which I like so I can hold (and show off) my iPhone's sleek design, and that print — I'm only going to use it when I need to feel bold and a little bit Miami.

We've discussed
Update Envy — the condition in which you experience great jealousy when a friend gets an updated version of a gadget you have, like if a friend got the iPhone 3G before you, and you were left with your sad old first generation iPhone.
But do you ever experience Refresh Rage? This is when a tech company (I'm looking at you, Apple) refreshes a product you've just bought, and your purchase is so recent that you wouldn't dream of replacing it, but it ticks you off that there's already a new version.

One thing I love about the iPhone is choice. I can pick which apps I want or don't want on my phone — no one is telling me that I have to use one or the other. I also love that you can get some of the best apps for free.

One of the announcements at the
Let's Rock presentation last week was
the iPhone 2.1 update. Steve Jobs boasted that this update will
improve your reception, cut down on dropped calls, and exterminate system bugs.
After spending about 30 minutes updating my firmware, I can tell you that it's a vast improvement!

Although Steve
announced its release yesterday at the Let's Rock presentation, I got a chance to play with the newest game to hit the App Store at the
Spore Release party last week. Spore Origins officially launched for the iPod Touch and iPhone on Monday and comes in at a cool $10 for your gaming pleasure.
Although the full version of Spore on your Mac or PC will take you all the way through Cell to Space stages, Spore Origins is condensed down into 30 levels in the Cell stage only (
which was one of my faves anyway).

We knew it was coming, we just didn't know when! Well starting today, you can now pick up an iPhone 3G at Best Buy — the
first independent US retailer to carry the iPhone 3G. And supposedly you'll be able to get your phone and email setup for free, in-store as well (you can currently only get this at the Apple retail stores), that is if you purchase one of the four accessory packages (starting at $106).
