A pair of young, entrepreneurial celebrities "designed" these rugs. Can you guess who they are? Name one.

Roubini Rugs has just launched a collection of 26 rugs riffed off of the work of Milanese painter, sculptor, interior decorator, and engraver Piero Fornasetti, naturally called the Fornasetti Rug Collection. The rugs are hand knotted in fine New Zealand wool, made in standard or custom sizes, and available through Neiman Marcus or Roubini. If you're unfamiliar with Fornasetti's original works, you may recognize them from reproduced versions in the form of furniture and other home accents (baskets, vases, plates); they have a playful, flippant sense of humor, and in some cases are clearly inspired by Greek and Roman architecture.

For the next round of this game, look at each of the script-heavy rugs below and guess which one is more expensive.
Flor has a cheeky pair of new area rugs called Party Dress ($60) and Skirting Around ($60) with leafy outline cuts composed of four saturated color tiles, which are meant to be placed under holiday trees in a modern home. The texture has a brushed, felt softness, and they are made from recycled fibers! The only color options are chartreuse and brick, which are not quite my go-to colors.
For a rug made out of a traditionally cheap material, this Polystyl Rosace Vinyl Carpet ($350) is surprisingly sophisticated. Designed by Arzu Firuz, this lacy-cut rug is made from deep red floor laminate but has the look of wood.
Anyone whose eyes are rolling at the mention of JC Penney must not be aware that this formerly un-hip retailer has started carrying some pretty cool stuff. That cool stuff is also very affordable, and during the Fall Home Sale happening right now, a lot of it — and I mean, a lot — is 30 to 50 percent off.
I rediscovered JC Penney recently after seeing an ad for some surprisingly sophisticated bedding, and there are definitely some great deals on duvets.
This HZL Mood Lounge Rug ($1,395 to $1,900) that Kbourg recently bookmarked is definitely bold, but in the right room, I think it would be a great look. What's your opinion?
Every Thursday on CasaSugar, I'll give you a decorating challenge and ask you to go Casa Craving for items that fit the look. (Here's a post explaining what a Casa Craving is and how to create one.) While browsing the divine web site of The Rug Company the other day, I came across this Paul Smith Swirl Rug and thought it would be fun try try to design a room around such a loud design.
For this week's Casa Craving Challenge, I'd like you to design an understated living room with this rug as the centerpiece.
I've already featured some fabulous designs by the lovable Jonathan Adler, so I figure it's about time I gave him a proper introduction on the site. Lately, he's best-known as the judge with the flamboyant neckties on Bravo's Top Design, but Adler has been a bold presence in the design world since 1994, when he sold his first batch of pottery to Barneys.
Adler soon expanded beyond ceramics into an array of assorted homewares — including lamps, furniture, rugs, and quirky accent pieces.
